PCB blues

Quite some time since the last post.


I'm still stuck in a lab by the way.


I have to fabricate a PCB board. The only way I can do this is in a room downstairs. And the technician whose stationed there is very picky. I wished my supervisor gave a better warning, other than being thick-skinned. No choice, had to go back and rework/touchup on the board.


(shakes head and sighs)


After struggle and struggle and struggle for the PCB board for a day, my jiu xing came in the form of the Integrated Project teacher for last year. The same guy who ask me frequently if life was still complicated.

He took a look at our work so far, at the Coordinator board that Yiyuan, who is my project partner for this semester, then said 'So lousy.' and then I laughed.


So, he helped us with routing and gave some advice. A word of caution. Year 3.1 can really vomit out alot of new stuff, and your lecturers will probly be expecting you to know. Most of it were really new things, which I had to lie down on my bed so I could absorb. The moment I heard '0 ohms resistor' I was stunned for 1.75 secs and no mood for anything else already.


I think life suddenly became more complicated, lah.


Tomorrow, think I will be going down to do PCB fabrication. Pray the TOS technician doesn't eat me. She can eat Yiyuan, who likes to save work on his thumbdrive, though.
